Meet Doreen Yaggie, Founder of Snowbird Guardian
At Snowbird Guardian, I’ve always believed a home is more than just a place. It’s where life’s most meaningful moments happen, where families create lasting memories, and where life’s greatest investments deserve thoughtful care. Whether you’re away for a season, traveling often, or managing multiple properties, knowing your home is being cared for by someone you trust provides invaluable peace of mind.
With more than 28 years of real estate experience, I have built my career on trust, communication, attention to detail, and exceptional client service. Throughout my career, I have worked with homeowners, luxury properties, relocation clients, investors, and long-term residents, gaining a deep understanding of the care, oversight, and responsiveness every home deserves.
In addition to my real estate background, I have owned and managed two Airbnb properties as a Superhost for nine consecutive years. This hands-on experience strengthened my expertise in property oversight, preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, guest readiness, all essential to preserving a home’s condition and long-term value.
Snowbird Guardian was created as a natural extension of that experience and my desire to provide homeowners with a higher standard of Home Watch and Concierge Care. Living in Minnesota, I understand the unique challenges that come with our changing seasons, from harsh winters to unexpected weather. My goal has always been simple—to provide dependable oversight, proactive communication, and personalized care so homeowners can enjoy their time away with complete confidence.

From a young age, Doreen Yaggie demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial spirit, learning the values of independence, hard work, and perseverance. Her professional path began on Wall Street in New York City before she moved to Minnesota, where she raised her family and discovered her passion for real estate. Over the past two decades, Doreen has built a reputable career as a realtor, earning recognition for her integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to going above and beyond for her clients.
This dedication and understanding of homes naturally evolved into the creation of Snowbird Guardian. Doreen’s mission is to provide homeowners with peace of mind by alleviating the demands of property management, allowing families to focus on creating lasting memories and nurturing a balanced, fulfilling life. In addition to home watch services, Snowbird Guardian offers personalized concierge solutions, making travel and daily life simpler and more enjoyable.

Outside of work, Doreen enjoys quality time with her adult children and granddaughter, playing pickleball, cooking, exploring new restaurants, and enjoying the beauty of the Twin Cities.

When I’m not caring for clients and their homes, I enjoy power walking, staying active at the gym, playing pickleball, discovering new restaurants, spending time with family, making memories with my granddaughter, and traveling to new destinations.
